About Dr. Fan
Dr. Larry Fan is a Harvard trained leader in wellness, age management, and plastic surgery and the founding director of the Age Management Institute at 77 Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Fan was born in Paterson, New Jersey, and raised in Southern California. He graduated with highest honors from Harvard College and received his M.D. from the University of California at San Francisco. He subsequently treated his medical and surgical training in General and Plastic Surgery at UCSF. Dr. Fan also completed an advanced fellowship in aesthetic surgery at the renowned Ninth People's Hospital in Shanghai, China. He is a former member of the staff at UC San Francisco. He is Board Certified in Plastic Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).
Dr. Fan developed an interest in wellness and age management while growing up in sunny Southern California. These interests were further developed early in his medical career at UCSF, where he performed anti-aging research. He subsequently undertook a preceptorship with Dr. Gino Tutera, M.D., a world respected age management expert and pioneer and Founder of Sotto Pelle hormone replacement therapy.
Dr. Fan has been voted One of America's Top Plastic Surgeons for the past 5 years by the Consumers Research Council of America. He is also an accomplished scientist and has received national awards for his research in medicine and surgery. He has been a speaker at the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Fan has been featured on national media outlets such as NBC, ABC, and Us Weekly. He is an avid reader, design aficionado, and athlete.
